Keep it centered
When you’re pulled wide, the best place to hit the ball is over the center of the net. That’s where the net is lowest-3 feet compared to 3 feet, 6 inches at the sidelines. Balls directed toward the center strap will give you shots a better chance of clearing the net. And hitting crosscourt offers the maximum space, and margin for error, in which to place your shots.
